WHAT IS TRULY IMPORTANT...TODAY
Hello Everyone,
Take a moment from your busy, busy schedule to reflect on what is truly important...today.
* * * * *
Today, you probably have a great deal to accomplish:
At home - shopping for that anniversary present, fixing the closet door, dropping the kids off at school, watching that much anticipated television program, reviewing your budget, spending time with the family, calling a friend, returning some mail, reading the newspaper, checking e-mail, and getting ready for (or getting rid of) company.
At work - meeting a deadline, attending another budget meeting, finishing projects, going to four "other" meetings, returning thirty emails, listening and responding to voicemails, planning an upcoming business trip, thinking about career development, reading a report, meeting clients, managing schedules, tracking performance metrics, monitoring budgets, improving customer satisfaction and more.
With ourselves - exercising, learning, praying, eating right, staying healthy, and keeping all of our relationships intact and growing.
And then comes something to disrupt our sense of importance and routine - a sickness, a birth, a death, a graduation, a marriage, an anniversary, more "breaking" news.
It's all very important.
Some may say, what's important lies in your heart and soul and how you treat and love one another. Others may say, it's important to be successful and utilize your talents to their fullest potential. And still others may say, it's important to have fun and be happy.
For our customers and clients, what is important and vital is their experience with us. They look to us to make their lives, even for just a little while, more relaxing, more reflective, more enjoyable, more worthwhile. We can't and won't let them down.
For it is in the service of others that we find true meaning. And it is through this process of service, that you will discover what is truly important...today.
Until Next Friday,
